Dan Henry 1975 Skin Diver Meca-Quartz Instructions Seiko VH31
September 1, 2022
Your Dan Henry 1975 Skin Diver is powered by the premium Seiko VH31 meca-quartz movement with a sweep second hand, and a precise and slim movement with 14.400 beats per hour. Unlike other quartz movements that click one second at a time, with the VH31 the hands move smoothly, as in a vintage mechanical timepiece.
Your 1975 Skin Diver is accurate to 20 seconds a month.
Crown Positions
- The crown functions in two positions:
1. Fully pushed in (normal operation)
- The movement keeps time.
2. Fully pulled out (adjust the time)
Pull out the crown; the seconds hand will stop. Rotate the hands to set the time. Then push in the crown.
Bezel diving timer
Your 1975 Skin Diver is equipped with a unidirectional external bezel that can be turned to measure elapsed time.
Battery saving
The battery can be conserved by pulling out the crown and stopping the watch when not worn regularly.
Battery replacement
With everyday use, the battery should last about two years. When the watch begins to run slow, change the battery. Use a ref. SR920SW or 371 battery.
Water resistance
Your Dan Henry 1975 is safe for handwashing, swimming, and snorkel diving.
Be sure the crown is fully pushed in before wearing your 1975 in water.
