A classic timepiece for the high-performance driver, with four styles, a beads-of-rice stainless bracelet, and nine colors for leather straps.
With the Dan Henry 1964 Gran Turismo Chronograph, we honor the great timepieces from auto racing’s most daring age.
These watches were seen on the wrists of superbly-talented sports car drivers who challenged the legendary racing circuits of the 1960s: the gut-wrenching speeds of Le Mans. The rugged hills of the Targa Florio. The twisting Mediterranean streets of Monaco. – DH
I created the 1964 Gran Turismo Chronograph for the high-performance driver in all of us. This is a watch that is both elegant and sporty.
We power the 1964 Gran Turismo with a rugged meca-quartz mechanism: two movements that combine the accuracy of quartz with the crisp feel and performance of a mechanical chronograph.
This timepiece is built with the design and 38mm size of vintage driving watches. The clean dial shows the information that every driver needs: elapsed seconds, minutes, hours, and tachymeter for average speed.
Your 1964 Gran Turismo is available in four variations: panda, evil panda, slate grey, and silver. Order with or without a date window.
And to honor all GT sports cars, engraved on the back of each watch is an icon of the 1960s: the Aston-Martin DB5.
Each 1964 Gran Turismo ships to you with a stainless steel bracelet crafted in the classic beads-of-rice style that is lightweight and flexible. You also receive a leather easy-change strap in a matching color (eight other colors are available for purchase).
