1975 Tropic Strap

The tropic rubber strap for the Dan Henry Skin Diver was designed in the 1970s style with high-performance FKM fluorocarbon rubber for greater comfort, strength, and durability.

Created for the aerospace and maritime industry, FKM is the material of choice for premier Swiss watch brands because of its high density while being soft to the touch.

To craft this tropic strap, we started with FKM, which is 3.6mm thick at the lugs, and shaved the material down to 2mm thick at the ends.
