Pilot watches are among the most desirable timepieces in any collection. Chronographs designed to serve the needs of aviation are rare; these robust watches are often handed down through generations of pilots, accompanied by the exciting stories of the aviators who wear them.
The 1963 was the first pilot chronograph in the Dan Henry line of watches. This model was also our first prototype, and the watch I used throughout the development of the brand. We will create other pilot watches, but the 1963 with the black dial will always have a treasured place in our collection.
